2008 Opening Ceremony

Alright, well, not quite the climactic event that was taking place in Beijing.

Ezra continues to show signs of improvement. His recent addition, as you can (or cannot) see in the top photo is the oxygen shield for his head. Too often his hands would pull the oxygen line fed to his nose, so as a replacement the staff gave him a space helmet.

Grandpa Salminen is greeting Ezra in the lower photo. We, again, would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support for our family.

  1. Welcome to the world Ezra!

    Just got the news.

Sounds like little Ezra was just expecting to pop out in the Swamp, where you have to drink the air in August. Hope everything is getting better and he comes home soon. I will be sending him lots of positive vibes and eating extra Dark Chocolate Dove Promises to get more endorphins released just for this purpose.

Really glad you started the blog. I will keep checking on all of you.

    Love and Hugs,

    Phyllis from Miami Beach

  2. Hi Natalie, Josh, and Ezra,
Glad to hear that the birth went well at home, but sorry to hear about this development. But it will pass soon, and Pam and I wish you all good health and smiles on the way. Jeff

  3. I'd much rather watch your little bundle over a group of Hello Kitty synchronized dancers or a bunch of tiny gymnasts any day. If you were at the Olympics right now, you'd all probably need to be on oxygen with all that smog. I can attest to it-- saw it first hand:) Anyways, he's looking lovely and I'm so glad you got to hold him and love him. You are all in my thoughts and hope this waiting time passes quickly.

    Love, Carrie
